UNCG enters the 2012-13 season as the reigning Southern Conference regular season champions after posting a 10-0 league mark. The Spartans also placed seven members on the SoCon Academic Honor Roll last year, including three members earning commissioner's medals.

Women's Tennis Named USTA North Carolina Volunteers Of The Month
GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNCG women's tennis program was named the United State Tennis Association (USTA) North Carolina Region Volunteers of the Month of August for their efforts at the Winston-Salem Open.
The Spartans helped the USTA host a Kids Play Day that saw them play singles and doubles with the future tennis starts. The team also came back Monday after classes to help host a clinic as part of the USO Military Appreciation Night. The USO sponsored the event for children of military families.
