2015 (Junior): Appeared in 23 games as one of UNCG’s most used relievers … Compiled a 4-3 record with a 7.09 earned run average … Tallied 44 strikeouts against 26 walks in 39.1 innings pitched … Tied for the team lead with three saves … Recorded victories over Wake Forest (April 8), Furman (April 12), The Citadel (April 18) and Mercer (April 26) … Picked up saves against Western Carolina (March 22) and ETSU (March 27-28) … Fanned a season-high five batters at VMI (May 10) … Notched multiple strikeouts in 14 games.

Southeastern CC: Earned first-team all-region honors at the conclusion of the 2014 campaign … Produced a 7-0 record with a 2.25 ERA and threw six complete games this season as a sophomore for Southeastern Community College in Whiteville, N.C. … Struck out 58 batters in 57 innings pitched and averaged over nine strikeouts per nine innings … In his most recent outing, an 11-2 victory over Danville Community College, Stafford turned in a complete game and fanned 10 hitters … As a freshman, produced a 2.52 ERA in 25 innings while racking up 15 strikeouts … In four of his appearances, he tossed a complete game.

High School: Played four years of varsity baseball at Charles B. Aycock High School in Goldsboro, N.C. under head coach Charles Davis … Earned all-conference and all-area accolades his junior and senior seasons … Was invited to play in the North Carolina Powerade State Games each of the last three years of his prep career and helped lead the Falcons to the 2012 3A state championship series … Competed for the Dirtbags Baseball Club for three seasons under head coach Andy Partin … As a senior, tallied a 1.79 ERA and struck out 87 batters in 66.1 innings while picking up five wins and a save as Aycock finished the season 21-11 and advanced to the state championship series.
