Tri-State Steel Student-Athletes of the Week will be named each week throughout the athletic season. The student-athletes will be recognized via UNCG social media platforms and uncgspartans.com

"I am very excited about this partnership with UNCG Athletics and to recognize those Spartans that are willing to put in the work. Often in the business world, it is not about who is the smartest or who has the most natural talent. It is about the person who is willing to do all the things the right way. So Tri-State Steel wants to start celebrating those student-athletes who outwork the others and give them the recognition they deserve. It is about the grit in the classroom, the weight room and on the playing surface.
