GREENSBORO, N.C. – As classes are underway at UNC Greensboro, softball senior outfielder Kayleigh Willis has begun her pursuit of a master's degree. An integral part of the team that has won the last three Southern Conference Regular Season Championships, Willis has excelled even more off the field in her time in Greensboro.
Willis is the recent recipient of the Bryan School Outstanding Undergraduate Student Award. In the spring, she graduated in just three years with a Bachelor of Science in Economics. She maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA to earn a spot on every possible academic honor list at the school and SoCon.
In addition to her time dedicated to the classroom and softball, Willis has been an active member with the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society. In the last two years she's served as the Vice President of Programming, helping to lead the society in building a strong base of community engagement in the Bryan School among the inducted members of the honor society and encourage more student involvement.
Willis successfully represented the Bryan School at the Beta Gamma Sigma Global Leadership Summit, which is a premier annual event with the highest achieving students from the top-five percent of business schools around the world.
