GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNCG women's basketball team hosts Presbyterian Thursday at 11 a.m. for Education Day. Admission is FREE to Thursday's game and it will be streamed live on the SoCon Digital Network.

The Spartans have partnered with local middle schools in the greater Greensboro area for Education Day; a day dedicated to increasing local middle school students with exposure to a college campus.

The Spartans (5-5) are looking for their fifth home win of the season. UNCG is led by Nadine Soliman who is the nation's leading freshman with 16.5 points per game and Te'ja Twitty who is averaging 9.5 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. The Blue & Gold is shooting 40.5 percent from the field and averaging 66.1 points per game this season.

UNCG is coming off a 65-54 loss at VCU Sunday, December 11. Bailey Williams had a career-high 20 points against the Rams and helped the Spartans to one of their best team performances of the season, despite the loss.

Presbyterian (0-7) is looking for its first win of the season Thursday. The Blue Hose is led by Janie Miles who has started all seven games and is averaging 10.6 points per game. Cortney Storey was named Big South Player of the Week following a career-high 26-point performance at Texas Southern earlier this season. She is second on the team with 9.9 points per game and 3.7 rebounds per game. The Blue Hose is averaging just 47.3 points per game and has been outscored by 20 points per game by opponents.

PC is currently on a three-game road trip heading into Thursday game after facing East Carolina and Gonzaga on the road in its last two outings.

Thursday's meeting is the first regular season matchup in program history for the Spartans and Blue Hose.
