Biography
Junior Season (2006-07)
Hampered by a back injury most of the season...played in 25 games, starting 22..averaged 5.3 points and 3.9 rebounds in 17.5 minutes of action...third on the team in blocked shots with 16 on the season...third on the team in defensive rebounds (60)...recorded a season-high 12 points in UNCG’s 68-61 win over Appalachian State...ranks third all-time at UNCG with 72 career blocks...scored in double-digits twice...had 10 points against Furman (1/6/07) and 12 points against Appalachian State (1/13/07)...was perfect from the free-throw line five times...tossed in nine points and went 3-of-4 from the free throw in UNCG’s win over Longwood (11/24/06)...posted a season-high nine rebounds in a 72-68 win over Providence (11/25/06)... ranked 11th in the Southern Conference in blocked shots with 0.64 per game.
Sophomore Season (2005-06)
Started 20 straight games and appeared in all 30 games for the Spartans...came on midway through the season to post career best numbers in scoring (7.4), rebounds (5.3), blocks (35), assists (28) and steals (15)...ranked among the leaders in the Southern Conference in multiple categories...fifth in blocks (1.17), seventh in field goal percentage with a 47.6 (91-for-191) percent shooting clip...also was 15th in rebounding and 11th in offensive rebounds (2.33)...averaged 8.8 points and 6.2 rebounds after being inserted into the starting lineup 10 games into the season...had five points and eight rebounds in the 91-79 loss to Chattanooga in the SoCon Tournament title game...notched a career-high 16 points in an 85-84 loss at Appalachian State (2/11)...became first UNCG player to post consecutive double-doubles in three years when she had 14 points and 10 rebounds in an 85-71 win over Appalachian State (1/14)...followed that with 14 points and a career-best 14 rebounds in a 70-67 overtime loss at College of Charleston (1/16)...scored in double figures seven times and had four games with 10 or more rebounds.
Freshman Season (2004-05)
Led the team with 21 blocks...appeared in 27 games...made first and only start of the season at Appalachian State (12/18)...scored four points and had six rebounds in the 69-41 loss...averages 3.8 points and 3.0 rebounds this season...scored 14 points and hauled in seven rebounds in a 62-55 loss to Pittsburgh in the finals of the UNCG Tournament (11/27)...set a season-high with nine rebounds in the regular season finale against Wofford (2/26)...scored 10 points in a 98-48 loss to nationally ranked Arizona (12/4)...scored nine points in a 79-68 win over UNC Wilmington (12/20)...had three blocks in a 71-50 win over College of Charleston (1/10).
High School
Earned first team all-conference and all-state honorable mention plaudits at Lake Mary High School in Lake Mary, FL as a junior and senior...averaged a “double-double” each of her last two seasons, with 12.1 ppg and 10.1 rpg as a junior and 12.2 ppg and 10.0 rpg as a senior...was an honor roll student at Lake Mary and graduated Cum Laude and received the school’s Who’s Who Award.
