Gained great experience his freshman year finishing with a 16-15 overall record...had a 4-1 overall Southern Conference dual record and went 8-9 in tournament action...grabbed second at the SoCon Championships at 197 lbs...had a team-best nine fall victories on the year...picked up first collegiate win with a fall victory in 3:30 over Nick Weaver of Clarion at the West Virginia Open...tallied a major decision over Kevin Cook of Davidson and Rory Bosek of Liberty...recorded a fall victory over Campbell’s Robert Yoder in 23 seconds on Dec. 14...ranks fourth on the UNCG single-season wins list at 197 lbs.

 

High School:

A six-year letterwinner in wrestling for Coach Mickey Woodworth at Canisteo Greenwood High School...team was state champion in 2005 and runner-up in 2005...had 31 pins and 46 wins in a season...earned four varsity letters in football...named Defensive Player of the Year.

 

Club:

Wrestled for the Apex Wrestling Club in Rochester, NY for two years.
