BUIES CREEK, N.C. – UNCG men's tennis fell to the Campbell Camels on Tuesday afternoon in Buies Creek. Connor Thompson (Atlanta, Ga./Holy Innocents) won his matchup at No. 1 singles to earn UNCG's lone point in the 6-1 loss.
UNCG was unable to earn the doubles point, falling in all three contests. Warren Bryan (Greensboro, N.C./Longwood) and Ian Melnik (Lawrenceville, Ga./Rivers Academy) battled at No. 3 doubles, falling 6-4.
Thompson defeated Nicolas Rakitin, 7-5, 6-4 at No. 1 singles to record UNCG's only point. UNCG fell in straight-sets in the other five singles matchups.
