Series History

-- UNCG has won just nine of their 54 meetings against the Mocs, but are 2-2 in the pair's last four meetings

-- The Spartans are looking to start the SoCon season with back-to-back wins for the first time since 2010-11

Five Facts To Know

-- Entering Thursday's contest with 665 career field goals, Nadine Soliman sunk five buckets against ETSU the other night, passing former Spartan All-American Angie Polk for a career program record in field goals made

-- Forward Te'ja Twitty scored 13 points and pulled down 10 boards against the Bucs, giving the senior 23 double-doubles on her career, just one shy of tying alum Melinda Gibson (1997-00) for the Spartan all-time record. Her 805 career boards rank third in UNCG program history

-- The Spartans remain one of the most efficient shooting teams in the country, with their 46.9 field goal percentage and 36.4 three point percentage ranking 14th and 30th in the country respectively

-- UNCG is currently on a six-game winning streak and has won their past eight contests at home. If the side can win the final two contests of their seven game homestand it will tie the longest home winning the streak the Spartans have had in a single season since moving to the Division I level during the 1991-92 campaign

-- A win against Chattanooga would give the Spartans a 13-4 start to the season, tying their best 17-game record in the D1-era. UNCG started the 1991-92 season 13-4 as well, it's first year at the Division I level.

The Mocs

-- Chattanooga's offense is led by senior guard Lakelyn Bouldin, who's scoring at a rate of 12.8 points per game and averaging just under two three-pointers per contest

-- The Mocs are just 2-13 on the year, but have already played eight teams within the top-100 of the most recent RPI. Three of those teams rank within the top-25, while only three of UTC's matchups this season have been against teams outside the top-150; Western Carolina, Northern Colorado and Eastern Kentucky

Coming Up Next
UNCG wraps up its seven game homestand against the visiting Catamounts of Western Carolina, owning a 30-38 record against WCU all-time. The Spartans are currently on a four-game winning streak against the Catamounts.
