HOW'S THEIR FORM?
-- The Aggies are just getting ready for the 2020-21 season after having a pair of games cancelled due to COVID-19 concerns at the start of December. The side was picked to finish second in the MEAC last year after coming in fourth during the 2019-20 campaign
-- UNCG will be looking to break the five-game skid they've experienced to start the season. The Spartans' most recent decision was a 60-55 loss at UNCW, where UNCG was barely outlasted by their hosts
SCOUTING THE SPARTANS
-- Senior guard
CeCe Crudup dealt out eight assists while grabbing 12 rebounds against UNCW on Friday, putting her two helpers short of a rebound-assist double-double, something that hasn't been accomplished by a Spartan player since before the turn of the century
-- Freshman
Khalis Cain made her first career start against the Seahawks, adding eight points and four rebounds
-- Three Spartans scored in double figures on Friday, led by a career-high of 15 points and five three-pointers from
Pernilla Sorensen. As a whole, UNCG tallied 17 assists for a new season-high as well
SCOUTING NC A&T
-- The Aggies had one of the best defenses in the country last year, with their 22.1 turnovers per game ranking fifth in the nation. They also ranked ninth in field goal percentage defense (.339), rebounds per game (43.5) and three-point field goal percentage defense (.265)
-- NC A&T saw six players graduate from last year's squad, losing eight players in total from the previous season's roster
SERIES HISTORY
--Â UNCGÂ is 13-6 against the Aggies all-time, but lost to A&T last season by a score of 57-48, breaking a streak of 10 straight wins against their fellow Greensboro opponent
-- Those 10 straight wins were all at neutral sites, with the Spartans holding a 2-2 record when playing the Aggies at home all-time
