GREENSBORO, N.C. - UNCG women's basketball (1-5, 0-0) takes to the road this Friday, matching up with former SoCon rival Elon (3-1, 0-0) for a 7 p.m. tip-off at Schar Center.
The Spartans are flying high after defeating rivals North Carolina A&T on Monday at Fleming Gymnasium. Head coach
Trina Patterson's side has been improving on a weekly basis this season, coming up just short in a 60-55 final in their most recent road trip at UNCW. UNCG is still looking for that first win while playing as visitors, while the Phoenix are 1-0 when at home this year.
