MATCHUP HISTORY
• UNCG has beaten the Catamounts in six of their last seven meetings, and finished one spot ahead of WCU in last year's conference standings
• UNCG took down WCU by a final of 5-2 in 2019, with current Spartans Sophia Adams, Brianna Gomez and Eugenia Camacho all tallying singles victories on that day
THE SPARTANS
• Gomez, Adams and Erika Barquero are all tied for a team-high four singles wins, with Barquero and Adams competing in the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds the entire season respectively
• Adams is a perfect 2-0 when playing alongside Hannah Giddings in doubles play, earning back-to-back wins at Coastal Carolina and Gardner-Webb last week
• Giddings is an impressive 5-2 when competing in doubles this year, regardless of her partner or her seeding
THE CATAMOUNTS
• Jordan Strickland is the only Catamount without a sub-.500 record, going 2-2 in singles play this season
• The senior has also had a hand in her team's lone doubles victories on the year, combining with sophomore Jacy Smith for a 2-0 record in the top pairing
COMING UP NEXT
The Spartans will take their longest road trip of the non-conference season, heading to Winter Park, Fla. to compete against Rollins College on Wednesday, the first time the two teams have met in the spring season.
