• Brianna Gomez owns a 2-1 record as well, with her lone loss coming against Charlotte's No. 4 seed this past weekend
THE PIRATES
• ECU holds the same record as the Spartans this season at 1-2, however one of those losses came against No. 8 NC State to kickoff the spring season
• No. 1 seed Lisa Hofbauer collected her first individual win of the season two weeks ago at James Madison, taking down the Dukes' top singles player Daria Afanasyeva in straight sets
COMING UP NEXT
The Spartans have a quick turnaround this week, while embarking on their second road match of the spring season. UNCG will take the trip to Boone, N.C. this Tuesday, February 11th, to matchup with the Appalachian State Mountaineers. While ASU has won its last two contests against the Spartans, UNCG is 5-2 against the side dating back to 2012.
