SCOUTING THE SPARTANS
-- The Spartans are coming off a 53-41 loss to host Coastal Carolina on Friday afternoon.
--Isys Grady was the lone Spartan to finish with double-digit points and rebounds with 12 and 10, respectively.
--Khalis Cain continues to lead the Spartans with 52 rebounds on the season. The sophomore has 24 offensive and 28 defensive.
-- Jaylynn Brown and Nia Howard lead the Spartans from behind the arc. They each have five on the season.
--Graduate CeCe Crudup leads the team in steals this season. The guard has 10 so far.
--Nitzan Amar is averaging 3.2 assists per game with a total of 16.


SCOUTING GARDNER-WEBB
-- The Runnin' Bulldogs are coming off a 78-72 win over the ETSU Bucs yesterday. This was their first win of the season.
--Three Bulldogs finished in double-digits points. Lauren Bevis led the team with 32 points, followed by Jhessyka Williams (15), and Ki'Ari Cain (13). Williams is averaging 14.8 points per game, which leads the team.
--Williams grabbed 14 boards in the win.
--Alasia Smith led the game with six steals  


SERIES HISTORY
-- This is the first meeting between the two schools in six years and four days. UNCG and Gardner-Webb have split the all-time series, 2-2.
-- This is the first neutral-site game between the two. Neither team has dropped a game at home.
