GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) women's basketball team will welcome the UNCW Seahawks for their last Wednesday game of 2021 at 2 p.m. in Fleming Gym.

SCOUTING THE SPARTANS
-- Freshman Isys Grady recorded the third double-double of her career in the Spartan's 56-52 loss at Davidson on Saturday.
--Grady is ranked ninth in the SoCon in scoring with an average of 11.2 points per game.
--UNCG leads the SoCon in scoring defense, only allowing an average of 55.3 ppg.
--Nia Howard is shooting .415% from beyond the arc. She leads the team with 17 made three-pointers.
--Khalis Cain leads the team in rebounds and is ranked fifth in the SoCon with an average of 7.8 per game.
--Cain leads the SoCon in field-goal percentage with .545.
--Nitzan Amar has dished out 23 assists this season. Grady follows with 22, and Jaylynn Brown with 21.
--Grady and Brown lead the Spartans with 15 steals on the season.
--Cain leads the Spartans with 15 blocks this season.

SCOUTING UNCW  
-- The Seahawks are coming into the contest with a 2-7 overall record. Their most recent game was a 79-50 loss against East Carolina on Sunday.
--Three players were in double-digit points; Carrie Gross (13), Sierra DaCosta (11), and Evan Miller (10).
--Micah Haggett was the lone Seahawk to have 10+ rebounds. She finished with nine defensive and two offensive.
--DaCosta leads the team for the season with 117 points.
--Allie Best leads with 12 steals this season. She has five games with two steals.
--Dejah Carter is at the top of the Seahawks with five blocked shots.
