Men's Tennis Continues Homestand Against Wofford

GREENSBORO, N.C. - UNCG men's tennis gets another chance at gathering a conference victory this Saturday, as visiting Wofford arrives in Greensboro. First serve is currently set for 1 p.m. at UNCG Tennis Courts, and is scheduled to coincide with the women's match against the same opponent at the same venue.

HOW'S THEIR FORM?
-- The Spartans are looking for their first SoCon win of 2021, with their most recent conference loss coming in a 4-3 decision against ETSU
-- The Terriers have already played four SoCon matches this spring, dropping a 4-3 decision at home to Mercer this past Saturday. They most recently grabbed a road non-conference victory at Davidson by a score of 6-1

-- The combination of Nico Grewe and Ollie Palmer have gone 3-1 in doubles play this year, with the pair currently on a two-match win streak. They have competed in the top pairing in all five Spartan matches this season
-- Sophomore Alexander Zuckerman is 2-3 in singles play this year, holding an even 2-2 mark when playing the opponent's No. 5

SCOUTING WOFFORD
-- Senior Omar Williams is tied for a team-high six singles wins on the year, while playing in the Terriers' top spot. He's also combined with junior Bryce Keim for six wins in doubles play
-- The Terriers are 5-1 this year when earning the doubles point, and 0-3 when going without

SERIES HISTORY
-- The Spartans are 5-3 against Wofford dating back to 2012, but lost by a margin of 4-3 in the pair's most recent meeting in 2019
