UNCG Headed To Radford For Thursday Match

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) women's tennis team concludes a three-match road trip by traveling to Radford for a 2:00 p.m. match on Thursday. The match will be played at the Radford Tennis Complex.

Last weekend at South Carolina, Erika Barquero had the experience of a lifetime as she competed against the No. 1 ranked player in the country. Not often, a student-athlete can make that claim that they competed against one of the top players. Barquero held her own and made her opponent work for the victory.

Quotable
Barquero on competing against the No. 1 ranked player in the nation.
"It was such a cool experience getting to play the #1 player in the nation! It was a high-level match. She is a great competitor. I am feeling confident with my game and performance on court. I look forward to starting conference on Saturday. We are ready to compete and give it all against Radford."
