GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's tennis team hosted its season opener, the three-day UNCG Fall Invitational at the UNCG Tennis Courts.

The Spartans had four doubles wins, including freshman Tymofiy Khrystyuk earning his first-collegiate win. 
 
Junior Hampus Johansson interviewed Khrystyuk post-match. 
 
Johansson: "You were one of many Spartans to win your match today, you also won your first college match, how did it feel?
 
Khrystyuk: "At the beginning it was tough, I wasn't expecting everything to go this fast. It was tough to adapt at the beginning, but then as the match went on, the energy was good from the whole team, so my energy got high and then we played better and better."
 
Johansson: "What's your biggest takeaway from today?"
 
Khrystyuk: "The biggest takeaway was playing as a team. I never really had to do that. But it was really satisfying and reminded me of when I played soccer. I loved the energy from the guys today."
 
Johansson: "What was your biggest challenge today?"
 
Khrystyuk: "Playing against guys you don't know was a big challenge."
 
Johansson: "Tomorrow, we have singles coming up, how do you feel about that?"
 
Khrystyuk: "I feel great. Today was a good day to get some play in. I think tomorrow is going to be easier to adapt to the pressure and everything. And if the guys have the same energy as today, I think we will perform well and we are ready for tomorrow."
