ELON, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) women's tennis team saw one doubles victory and two singles wins on day two of the Elon Invitational
Sophomores
McCollough Perry and
Alexandra Dodashev Enbert earned a big victory for the Spartans in doubles play. They defeated James Madison University opponents Alexandra Prudente and Hayley Glen 8-6.
The Spartans also saw singles wins from freshman
Ella Olexa and junior
Juliana Craft. Olexa breezed past Michaela Hegarty of Virginia Tech with scores of 6-0 and 6-1. Craft earned her first win of the season defeating Alexa Goetz of Emory, 6-4, 1-6, 10-8.
UNCG concludes the three-day invitational tomorrow, Sunday, September 18 with one singles battle starting at 9:00 a.m.
