GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) women's tennis team hosted its first invitational of the year with the three-day UNCG Invite. The first day of play began on Friday, September 23 at the UNCG Tennis Courts.
The Spartans won four of eight singles matches and two of four doubles matches.
"Great effort today," Head Coach
Paul Thomson stated. "Much better than the start of last weekend and better than we finished last Sunday. It is obvious these girls are hungry. We have a lot of work to do, but I am seeing improvements every day."
Play will continue on Saturday with a start time of 9:00 a.m.
