BURLINGTON, N.C. – Tommy Lamb,
Noah Connor,
Keenan Royalty and
Andrew Graham of the UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's golf team completed their final round of individual competition in the Phoenix Invitational at Alamance Country Club on Tuesday.
The Leaderboard
- Lamb finished on top for the Spartans in a tie for sixth place after notching a seven-under-par (206). He recorded his best collegiate score in the opening round of the tournament with a five-under-par (66).
- Lamb finished on top at the tournament in eagles after notching three, with one coming in each round and all three coming on hole 17 of each round.
- Connor followed closely behind in a tie for 19th with a three-under-par (210). Connor's best game in the two-day tournament came in round two with a three-under-par (68).
- Royalty jumped up 17 spots from his previous position after the first and second rounds to finish in a tie for 24th place. The freshman carded a two-under-par (211) over the three rounds. His best game came in the final round with a three-under-par (68).
- Graham rounded out the scorecard for the Spartans in a tie for 52nd place after recording a five-over-par (218).
- The Spartans went up against 95 competitors at the invitational, hosted by Elon.
