SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) women's tennis team closed out its fall season at the Wofford Invite from Friday, Nov. 10 to Sunday, Nov. 12

UNCG went 2-3 in doubles and 2-2 in singles action on the weekend. Arina Babkova and Sydney Bly led the way in singles after capturing two wins apiece. Doubles duos Lauren Thomson and Arina Babkova and Sydney Bly and Ella Olexa recorded one doubles win each.

Sydney Bly and Ella Olexa (UNCG) defeated Rachel Ekanem (Radford) and Grace Stout (Wofford), 6-1
Sydney Bly and Ella Olexa (UNCG) lost Lekha Varudandi and Kristin Yordanova (Mercer), 6-4

Arina Babkova (UNCG) defeated Breda Brennan (Wofford), 6-2 6-3
Ella Olexa (UNCG) lost to Kristin Yordanova (Mercer), 6-3, 6-4
Sydney Bly (UNCG) defeated Katie Watts (Gardner-Webb), 3-6 7-6(4) (10-4)
Lauren Thomson (UNCG) lost to Catherine Blouin (Wofford) 6-0 6-1

The Spartans concluded the fall season at 32-34 in singles and 20-20 in doubles across tournament play.
