GREENSBORO, NC - The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) women's basketball team will take a short trip to Chapel Hill, N.C., to take on No. 24 North Carolina on Wednesday, Dec. 6 at 7 p.m. in the Carmichael Arena.
 
Associate Head Coach Cetera DeGraffenreid and Assistant Coach Alex Miller will return to their alma mater on Wednesday in the team's contest to the Tar Heels.

• UNCG most recently earned a 65-59 win over Coastal Carolina on Wednesday, to stay undefeated at home.
• Ayanna Khalfani earned her third double-double of the season in the contest with 11 points and 12 rebounds.

• North Carolina is 5-3 overall after winning its first five games but dropping its last three.
• The Tar Heels most recently came up short at home against top-ranked South Carolina, 65-58 on Thursday.
• When it comes to going to the free-throw line for the Tar Heels, Deja Kelly stands out by leading the ACC with 62 free-throw attempts, going 40-for-62 from the line.
• Kelly leads the Tar Heels in scoring with 133 points and a 16.6 scoring average.
• Alyssa Ustby is third in the conference with four double-doubles this season.
• Ustby leads the team with 71 boards.
• Kelly and Ustby are tied with 15 steals apiece.
• North Carolina will face another SoCon opponent before getting into ACC action by hosting Western Carolina on Dec. 15 in Chapel Hill.

The Spartans trail in the overall series at 5-13 against North Carolina. The two teams last met in the 2020-21 season in Chapel Hill. The Tar Heels defeated the Spartans, 96-35 in the contest.
