GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) women's tennis team resumes Southern Conference (SoCon) play with a single match against Wofford on Friday, March 17 at 1 p.m. Followed by hosting East Carolina on Sunday, March 19 at 12 p.m.

• The Spartans are 3-11 overall this semester.
• UNCG defeated Presbyterian, 6-1, Longwood, 6-1, and Radford, 7-0.
• Raegan Mitchell leads the Spartans with a 6-3 record.
• Arina Babkova, in the number one singles spot, is 4-9 overall.
• Olivia Gallagher is 5-9 overall in singles play, with a 4-2 record in number four singles play.
• The doubles pairing of Hanna Giddings and Gallagher are 5-7 when playing together, all coming at the number one spot.

About Wofford

• Wofford is 9-5 overall, this will be its first SoCon match this season.
• The Terriers most recently beat Radford University 7-0.

• Catherine Blouin is currently 7-3 and on a seven-match win streak in singles.
• Emma Sorensen and Breda Brennan are leading Wofford in double play with a record of 6-2 with a two-match winning streak.
• Brianna Wilbur is 9-3 at number three singles. 

About ECU

• The Pirates are 7-6 overall and are on a two-match winning streak, winning four of their last five matches.
• ECU most recently had a win against UNCW 4-2, and SoCon opponent Western Carolina 4-0.
• Ines Bachir and Alisha Hussain are 10-3 in doubles play, competing in the number one spot.
• Martina Muzzolon and Isabella Ortiz are 6-4 overall in number two doubles. 
• Muzzolon is 8-2 overall with a 7-2 mark in the numner three slot. 
• Bachir has a record of 9-3 for the Pirates in singles, with an 8-3 record at number two singles.

 
Up next for the Spartans
UNCG heads to Cullowhee, N.C. to face Western Carolina for a single match on March 24^th at 2 p.m for the third SoCon match-up of the season. The Spartans follow that with Chattanooga on Sunday, April 2 at 10 a.m. in Chattanooga, Tenn.
