Men's Tennis Prepares for Four Matches in Four Days

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's tennis team prepares for four matches in four days. The Spartans begin the three-match home stand with Campbell on Thursday, March 23rd at 2 p.m.

The first 25 students at the match vs. the Fighting Camels will receive FREE Taco Mama.

About the Spartans

  • NC A&T is undefeated going 6-0 overall this season.
  • The last win the Aggies had was against Norfolk State, beating them 6-1.
  • Ian Pedersen, who has played at number five and six singles, and Eder Blanco at number two singles are both 6-0.
  • Pedersen and Mathieu Dussaubat are 4-0 in the doubles action, with Alex Martinez and Blanco close behind with a 4-1 record.
About Wake Forest
  • Wake Forest is 18-6 overall this season, and 3-1 in the ACC so far.
  • The Demon Deacons are currently on a three-match win streak, beating No. 42 Baylor 4-0, Coastal Carolina, 4-0, and No. 60 Miami, 4-1. 
  • Melios Efstathiou leads Wake Forest in singles with a 13-2 record.
  • Efstathiou and Matthew Thomson are 11-5 in doubles play.
  • Luciano Tacchi and Jurabek Karimov are close behind with a 10-6 record.
