Box Score GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's tennis team continued a three-game home stand, hosting Southern Conference (SoCon) foe Wofford on Friday afternoon. The Terrier defeated the Spartans 5-2 at the UNCG Tennis Courts.
Wofford took the doubles point with wins on courts one, 6-3, and two, 7-5. UNCG's
Wyatt Cannon and
Devon Moskowitz defeated the Terrier's doubles pairing of Max Graham and Ashe Ray with a 7-4 tiebreaker.
Wofford then won at singles four, 6-4, 6-1, and number six with scores of 6-4, 6-4.
David Flisberg picked up the Spartans' first singles win at the number three spot with scores of 6-4, 7-5.
The Terriers secured the match with a win at number five singles, 6-4, 6-3, and then earned its fifth point with a 6-2, 7-5 win at number one singles.
Tymofiy Khrystyuk forced a third set as the Terriers' Robbie Young won 6-3. Khrystyuk then won 6-2, 6-3 for the win.
