ASHEVILLE, N.C.- The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's tennis team had a tough fight before falling, 7-0, to UNC Asheville in a non-conference match on Wednesday afternoon.
How it Happened
UNC Asheville ended up taking the doubles point after the first two matches finished with 6-3 and 6-1 scores, with the final match going unfinished.
Four single matches went two sets, with UNC Asheville taking each win.
Tymofiy Khrystyuk fought going into three sets with scores of 2-6, 6-3, and 3-6 with UNC Asheville's Harry Thursfield coming out on top.
The Bulldog's Chester Wickwire had a win in the only match that went into a tiebreaker against the Spartans'
Devon Moskowitz with scores of 1-6, 6-4, 0-1(0-2).
