GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's tennis team will play in five matches in four days this week, first traveling to Virginia to play Washington and Lee on Tuesday and then following that up with a battle against Sunbelt Conference rival James Madison on Wednesday.
About the Spartans
- The Spartans opened the New Year against No. 19 NC State, falling twice on January 14 in Raleigh, N.C.
- UNCG is 1-8 overall this season with a 5-2 win over Longwood and 0-1 in SoCon play.
- John Gabelic and David Flisberg are leading the Spartans in doubles action with a 4-5 record.
- Harrison Gwynn and Devon Moskowitz picked up a doubles win over Radford with a score of 7-6 (7-3).
- Andrew Black has a 3-5 overall record in singles play, while Tymofiy Khrystyuk is next with a 2-6 record.
- Wyatt Cannon is 2-2, splitting time between No. 5 and No. 6 singles.
- Flisberg was named SoCon Player of the Week on January 24 after going 1-0 in singles and doubles action.
