GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's and women's cross country teams and Head Coach
Kaleigh Roach have announced their 2023 schedule.
"We are excited for the 2023 cross country season, as we look to build on our success over the 2023 academic year," said Coach Roach. "This squad returns a majority of last year's roster as well as adds a strong group of incoming freshmen. With a young crew, the goal for this season is for our men and women to gain confidence and racing maturity in each competitive opportunity. For the first time since 2014, UNCG will host the SoCon Cross Country Championship on October 27th. We look forward to this opportunity and would love to see our Spartan family out to support!"

- The team will begin competition for the 2023 season in Winston-Salem, N.C. on September 1 in a dual meet against Wake Forest.
- UNCG will then head to Charlotte, N.C. to race in the Queen City Invite, hosted by the Royals of Queens.
- The Spartans will compete out of state for the first time on September 29, when they battle in the Chanticleer Challenge in Conway, S.C. on September 29, hosted by Coastal Carolina.
- Two weeks prior to the beginning of the Spartans' postseason, UNCG will head back to South Carolina to run in the Upstate Invitational on October 14, hosted by USC Upstate in Spartanburg, S.C.
- For the first time since 2014, UNCG will serve as host for the 2023 SoCon Cross Country Championships on October 27 in Kernersville, N.C.
- The NCAA Southeast Regional will be held in Spartanburg, S.C. on November 10 with the NCAA Championships to follow on November 18 in Charlottesville, Va.
The Spartans concluded the 2022 cross country season at the NCAA Southeast Regionals on in Louisville, Ky., with the men placing 19
th and the women earning 29
th. Coach Roach will begin her third season at the helm of the men's and women's cross country and track & field teams.
