GREENSBORO, N.C. - The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's tennis team is back in Greensboro this week to host three matches.

SCOUTING THE PALADINS

  • Saturday's contest to the Spartans will be The Southern Conference (SoCon) opener for the Paladins.
  • Leonardo Dal Boni and Emil Westling are leading Furman in singles action this season, both with a 6-4 overall record apiece.
  • Elijah Poritzky and Thomas Kennedy stand out for the Paladins in doubles play with a 6-5 overall record.
  • The Paladins and Spartans last meeting came in Greenville, S.C., on March 19, 2023, going the way for Furman, 6-1.

  • Samford comes to Greensboro with a 6-4 overall record this season.
  • The Bulldogs are on a three-match win streak with the most recent being a 4-3 victory at Belmont.
  • Sunday's matchup to the Spartans will be Samford's conference opener.
  • Sebastian Harrison is leading Samford with a 6-2 record in singles.

SCOUTING THE STAGS

  • The Stags will face Gardner-Webb on Monday, March 4 at 3 p.m. in Boiling Springs, N.C., before coming to Greensboro.
