SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) women's basketball team will enter the 2024 Southern Conference (SoCon) Women's Basketball Tournament as the No. 2 seed. The Tournament will take place in Asheville, North Carolina at Harrah's Cherokee Center.
 
The Spartans will play in a quarterfinal matchup on Thursday, March 7 at 1:15 p.m. against No. 7 Furman on ESPN+.
 
UNCG went 2-0 against No. 7 seed Furman (15-15, 5-9) during the regular season. 

Chattanooga (25-4, 13-1 SoCon) won the regular-season title and will enter the 2024 tournament as the top seed. The Mocs will open the tournament against No. 8 seed Western Carolina (6-23, 1-13) on Thursday at 11 a.m. 

Semifinal action will take place on Friday and the women's championship game will tip off on Sunday at noon ET.
