CHATTANOOGA, TENN. - The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's tennis team concluded the 2023-24 regular season, falling 7-0 at Chattanooga on Saturday at the UTC Tennis Center in Chattanooga, Tenn.
The Mocs gained the first point of the day after securing two of the three doubles matches.
Luke Thomson and
Tymofiy Khrystyuk closed out doubles action by defeating Cortland Grove and Jordan McClure on court two, 7-6 (7-2).
Chattanooga continued its momentum into singles play by claiming all six singles points for the 7-0 win. However,
David Flisberg and
John Gabelic closed out the match with a couple three-set battles on courts three and two, respectively. Flisberg dropped his matchup with Grove, 3-6, 7-5, 3-10 on court three, while Gabelic fell to Gabriel Castillo on court two, 5-7, 6-2, 6-10.
