Box Score GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) women's basketball team concluded its non-conference schedule with a 94-39 win over Livingstone on Saturday inside Bodford Arena.
The win over the Bears marks 25-straight home wins for the Spartans and makes the team 36-1 over the past two seasons.
UNCG notched 15 three-pointers in the contest, tying the UNCG women's basketball program record that was previously set on Dec. 21, 2022, against Virginia University of Lynchburg.
With today's 10 rebounds,
Rylan Moffitt has reached the 500 career rebounds milestone. She achieved 395 rebounds at Appalachian State, while the other 105 have been recorded this season as a Spartan.
Six Spartans reached double-figures in the contest with
Jeni Levine leading the way with 17 points.
Makiah Asidanya followed closely behind with 15 points after matching her career-best five three-pointers.
Leyla Minor chipped in 13 points, while
Joelle Davis and
Ciara Harris notched 12 points apiece. Moffitt rounded out the double-figure scoring with 10 points, recording her seventh career double-double and fourth of the season adding in her 10 boards.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Livingstone's Breasia Coit put the visiting team on the board first with a layup at 8:19, 2-0. Five-straight points from Levine put the Spartans on top at 7:36, 5-2. The Bears bounced back with four consecutive points to regain the lead for the final time in the contest, 6-5. The Spartans responded with a 31-0 run that carried into the second quarter, marking their best scoring run of the season. The first frame was concluded with six-straight points from Harris alone to send UNCG to the bench on top, 22-6.
The Spartan's heavy scoring continued into the second quarter, outscoring the Bears, 20-8 in the stanza. The second quarter was concluded with a 4-0 Livingstone run, but UNCG held the 42-14 advantage going to the locker room.
After a 2:06 scoring draught, three-pointers from Levine and Asidanya got the scoring started in the third frame, 48-14. The Bears were able to find their first double-digit quarter with 12 points, but the Spartans continued to stay in control with 27 points of their own. The third stanza was concluded with seven Spartan points for the home squad to hold a 69-26 lead at the break.
The final frame saw the most points from the Bears with 13, but the Spartans continued to outscore the visiting team, dropping 25 points in the quarter. A final three-pointer from Davis with 55 seconds remaining, granted UNCG with the 94-39 win over Livingstone.

- UNCG bested Livingstone in points off turnovers (20-4), rebounds (57-34), second chance points (24-14), bench points (43-10), points in the paint (30-24), fast break points (29-6), blocks (8-6), steals (16-9) and assists (27-4).
- Tasia Johnson recorded a career-best two blocks.
- Johnson paced the Spartans with six assists.
- Mia Simpson led UNCG with four steals.
- Minor notched career-highs of seven rebounds and four blocks.
