BLESSINGS, ARK. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's golf team remains in third place after two rounds in the seventh Blessings Collegiate Invitational held at Blessings Golf Club.
TEAM
- Following UNCG's one-over-par (287) round one score on Saturday, the Spartans carded a 22-over-par (310) during round two.
- The Spartans remain third out of nine teams in the field with their 23-over-par (599) scorecard.
- Arkansas is still on top of the team leaderboard with its five-under-par (571) and is the only squad with an under-par performance.
- Five teams have posted at least one eagle: UNCG, Arkansas, North Texas, Oral Roberts, Southern Mississippi.
- UNCG is tied for first with Southern Mississippi with 105 pars.
INDIVIDUAL
- BJ Boyce and Kelvin Hernandez are tied for eighth with a three-over-par (147) two-round scorecard.
- Boyce maintained his position from round one after firing a four-over-par (76). He carded an eagle on the par-five 634-yard second hole for the second-straight round.
- Hernandez had a three-under-par (69) round one score and completed round two with a six-over-par (78) performance.
- Reece Sanders and Will Guidry are tied for 24th out of the 49 with their 10-over-par (154).
- Sanders has fired rounds of 72 and 82 in the tournament, while Guidry has carded two rounds of 77.
- Jake Lewis sits tied for 39th following a 15-over-par (159) two-round total.
