SCOUTING THE SPARTANS

- Ivet Sala-Sánchez collected her first collegiate singles win and first singles win for the Spartans on the 2026 season in a 3-6, 6-3, 10-7 win over Olivia Hooper at court six.
- The Spartans fell in their spring opening doubleheader at No. 14 Virginia (7-0, 4-0) on Thursday, Jan. 15.

SCOUTING THE SPIDERS
- Richmond comes to Greensboro with an 0-3 overall mark on the 2026 season.
- The Spiders last competed at Navy in Annapolis, Maryland, on Friday, Jan. 23, falling 5-2.
- Abby Lee, 6-2, 6-4, and Lucy Webber, 6-3, 3-6, 6-2, picked up their first singles wins of the season in the loss to the Midshipmen.
- Prior to the loss at Navy, Richmond fell to Northwestern, 6-1, in its lone home match this season. Lara Bakhaya earned the one point for the Spiders in a 6-4,2-6, 6-3, singles win.
- Richmond began the 2026 campaign with a 7-0 road loss at No. 14 Virginia.
- The Spiders finished the 2025 season 16-7 overall and 6-2 in the A-10 Conference.
- Head Coach Jacob Dunbar is in his fourth season at the helm of the Richmond women's tennis program.
