All-SoCon Honor Roll (2021)

Outdoor Track 2023 (Junior)
Earned a 12^th place finish at the SoCon Outdoor Track & Field Championships after recording a 2:21.9 time in the 800m.
 
Indoor Track 2022-23 (Junior)
Finished sixth at the JDL Early Bird Invitational after notching a personal best time of 3:13.08 in the 1000m…earned fifth at the Mondo College Invitational after posting a time of 2:28.25 in the 800m.
 
Cross-Country 2023 (Junior)
Notched a season best of 19:34.8 in the 5K at the SoCon Cross Country Championship.

Outdoor Track 2022 (Sophomore)
Shay competed at the Dennis Craddock Coaches Classic, where she ran a career best time of 18:36.57 in the 5000m and finished 9th overall. She later ran the 1500m and finished 10th at the SoCon Outdoor Championship.

Indoor Track 2021-22 (Sophomore)
Shay Soukup competed in all the races throughout the indoor season. At the JDL February Multi & Track Meet she ran a personal best in the 200m (30.50) and finished 16th overall. Shay ran the 3000m and crossed the line in a career best time 10:28.30 to place 11th.

Cross-Country 2021 (Sophomore)
Competed in all six meets this season … Ran a career best in the 4k Elon Opener with a time of 15:44.3 placing 54th … Ran a career best in the 5k Louisville Classic with a time of 18:32.6 … Competed in the NCAA Division I Southeast Region Cross Country Championships with a 6k career-best time of 22:38.8.

Outdoor Track 2021 (Freshman)
Rookie set a personal best in the 1,500 meters at the Catamount Classic, clocking a time of 4 minutes, 46.05 seconds to finish in fifth place ... Followed up the next day in Cullowhee with a PR of 2:18.58 in the 800 meters to finish in sixth place.

Cross-Country 2020 (Freshman)
Competed in the SoCon championship, UNCG’s only race of the cross-country season … Helped the Spartans finish fourth overall after completing the race in 21:42.63 (61st overall).
