Led the SoCon with 20 victories and 210 strikeouts … Was the fourth pitcher in program history to record at least 200 strikeouts in a single season and also the seventh pitcher with at least 20 wins in a single season … Had a 2.18 earned run average, tossed 22 games in 32 appearances … Had five shutouts … Four games this season with double digit strikeouts … Struck out 14 batters in games against Elon and Furman, tying the third best single-game total in program history … Over her final 10 regular season appearances, Scott went 8-1 with seven complete games and a 0.98 earned run average … She helped UNCG win the SoCon regular season and postseason tournament championships … The Spartans made an appearance in the Athens Region of the NCAA Tournament … UNCG set a single season program record with 90 home runs … The Spartans won a season-high eight consecutive games during two different points in the season.
Freshman (2020)
Made 15 appearances and 11 starts over the course of the season, tossing a team-high eight complete games and two shutouts ... her 3.93 K/BB ratio and 9.2 K/7 were both the top marks in the SoCon, while her 106 total strikeouts were first in the Southern Conference and 21st in all of Division I softball ... finished the season with an 8-5 record and 3.02 ERA ... earned SoCon Pitcher of the Month for February after tossing five complete games in the month alone and shutting out both Virginia (2.14) and Oakland (2.29) ... shutout North Dakota State (2.8) over 4.0 innings, striking out five and giving up just two hits ... struck out seven over 9.2 IP of work against Ohio State (2.9) ... struck out eight in a complete game shutout of Virginia (2.14), striking out eight ... kept Towson without an earned run over 2.0 IP ... struck out 12 in a complete game win against Holy Cross (2.16) ... held Clemson to just a single run in a complete game victory over the Tigers (2.18) ... surrendered two earned runs over 5.1 IP against Purdue (2.22) ... tossed her second shutout of the season, on the way to striking out 11 batters against Oakland (2.29) ... tossed three straight complete games, starting with a 13-strikeout performance against Appalachian State (3.1) where she gave up just two runs ... surrendered two runs at Elon (3.7) as well, striking out another 12 ... finished up with her third straight double-digit strikeout performance, sitting down 10 Phoenix batters (3.8) ... ended her season with a five-inning victory over Northern Illinois (3.11), holding the Huskies to just two hits and a walk.
High School
Lettered every year for Dutch Fork High School … Earned all-region honors all four years and was the team MVP and the High School Sports Report SCHSL AAAAA All-State Team her junior and senior seasons … Registered a 1.45 ERA, 146 strikeouts, seven wins and a .508 batting average her senior year … Played for NC Bandits under coach Mike Scott.
