Biography

Junior season (2009)
Was third on the team with a career-best .295 average ... started 58 games, missing game two of a doubleheader at North Carolina A&T with injury on April 16 to snap her streak of 169 straight starts ... was second in the Southern Conference and led the team with a career-best 12 doubles ... led the team with a career-best 36 runs scored, the third-most in the SoCon ... coaxed a career-best 27 walks, fifth-most in the SoCon on the season and tied for the eighth-most in a single season in school history ... hit three home runs ... had 21 RBI and slugged .415 to match her career high ... also posted a career-high on-base percentage of .390, good for second on the team ... had 11 multi-hit games, including a pair of three-hit efforts ... was named the SoCon Player of the Week on April 13 after hitting .545 with six RBI in five games, scoring two runs in four of the five contests ... torched North Carolina Central on April 7, going a combined 4-for-6 with three RBI, a double and an inside-the-park home run in the doubleheader sweep, ... also had a three-run home run in the bottom of the sixth inning against Samford on April 11 in the completion of a suspended game from the day before, sending the Spartans to a 6-3 win and extending her career-best hitting streak to 11 games ... hit an even .500 in her hitting streak, going 16-for-32 ... was 3-for-4 with an RBI double and a run scored against Florida Gulf Coast on Feb. 7 ... went a combined 4-for-7 with four runs, a homer and an RBI double in two games against Army on Feb. 14 ... had a pair of doubles against Georgia Southern at the SoCon tournament on May 8 ... finished the season fifth in school history in career walks and tied for eighth in home runs (13) ... played for Storm USA out of Corona, Calif., during the summer ... the squad lost to world No. 3 Australia on a walk-off home run.

Sophomore season (2008)
Started all 56 games, hitting .233 on the year ... hit .327 in 18 SoCon games ... led the team with seven doubles and 21 walks and was second with four home runs and 17 RBI ... moved into UNCG's top 10 in career home runs ... scored 15 runs ... had six multi-hit games on the season ... went 4-for-4 with a double and two RBI in the second game of a doubleheader against Western Carolina on April 6 ... was 3-for-5 with a double against Coastal Carolina on March 10 ... had two hits each in both games of a doubleheader against Furman on May 3 ... had a solo home run against No. 23 North Carolina on March 5 ... was 2-for-3 against top seed Chattanooga in the SoCon tournament on May 10 ... put together a six-game hitting streak late in the season.

Freshman season (2007)
Had a stellar freshman campaign for the Spartans ... one of three players to start every game and the only freshman to play every inning ... tallied 29 runs on 53 hits ... recorded nine doubles, three triples and six home runs ... shared the team lead in doubles and home runs ... led the team with 32 RBI and a .415 slugging percentage ... was 6-of-7 in stolen base attempts and had 100 putouts on the year ... had 13 multiple-hit games on the season ... had her best game of the season against North Carolina A&T on March 27, going 3-for-5 with two RBI ... her three triples were good for fifth on the UNCG single-season list at the time ... her 207 at bats rank fourth on UNCG's single-season list.

Earned four letters at Wakefield High School in Raleigh, N.C. ... graduated with school records for batting average and fielding percentage at Wakefield ...
