Walkersville High School in Walkersville, MD...member of the Lions tennis team for four years...made it to the state quarterfinals three times...two-time country champion...ranked No. 2 in the state of Maryland in 2006...at the end of the 2007 season, Lupinetti was ranked No. 27 in the Mid-Atlantic.

Trained at Cattail Creek under coach Joe Mattingly.

David Joel Lupinetti...born July 16, 1988...son of Dante and Susan Lupinetti...father is a gradutae of Maryland and now works as a computer programmer...mother is a nurse...has four siblings, Daniel, 26, Johnathan, 25, Jenna, 22, and Rachel, 16...planning to major in finance at UNCG.
