2022-23 (Graduate Student)
Competed in all 33 rounds for the Spartans…finished on top for the team with a 70.45 average…had his best finish of the season at the Advance Golf Partners Collegiate after notching a 12-under-par in the tournament (204)…finished in second at the Wolfpack Intercollegiate after posting a six-under-par (66) in the final round of the tournament…he also finished third at the Johnnie-O at Sea Island by recording a three-under-par in the tournament (207).

2021-22 (Graduate Student)
Named SoCon Men’s Golfer of the Year … First UNCG student-athlete to earn that distinction … Tied for 15th overall at the NCAA Palm Beach Gardens (Fla.) regional (67-76-74) … Was leading NCAA regionals after the first round by one stroke … Named SoCon Player of the Week four times and SoCon Player of the Month three times … Named a finalist for the Ben Hogan Award … Won the Wolfpack Collegiate with a 10-under par effort on Oct. 17, the Grandover Invitational with an astonishing 14-under par performance on Oct. 24, and the Dorado Beach Collegiate tournament with another 14-under par showing on March 1 … During the Grandover Invitational, Lyerly bogeyed two of the 54 holes …  Lyerly had six top-five finishes this season … His scoring average of 69.63 led the Southern Conference … Of his 33 rounds this season, 23 were under par, with 14 rounds in the 60s … Lyerly finished second at the Southern Conference championships after finishing the three-day event 10-under par … Ended the SoCon tournament with a performance to remember, a final-round of seven-under 65 … He had eight birdies in the final round alone and was a five-under 31 on the front nine.


2019-20 (Junior)

Opened the fall season at the Badger Invitational (9.8-9.10) shooting six over par ... tied for 27th at the Rod Myers Invitational (9.14-9.15) while tallying a 219 (+3); turned in a 70 during round two ... shot an even 216 during the Wolfpack Fall Intercollegiate (10.5-10.6), collecting a 68 and a 72 in the final two rounds to tie for 19th overall ... took the individual win at the Grandover Collegiate (10.27-10.28), finishing three under par, after opening the competition with a 69 and finishing with a 71 ... shot one under par at the Dorado Beach Collegiate (2.23), tying for 26th out of 96 athletes ... tied for 21st in the General Hackler Championship field (3.9-3.10), finishing one-under par with a 217 stroke count.

2018-19 (Sophomore)

Played in 36 rounds … Posted a team-low 71.55 stroke average… Named to the All-SoCon Team ... Also awarded the Pinnacle Award, given annually to the player with the highest cumulative GPA on the winning team at the SoCon Championship ... Began the year at five-over 221 in the Rod Myers Invitational ... Finished in sixth place at the Wolfpack Intercollegiate, posting an eight-under 208 ... Ended fall play with a second place finish in the UNCG Grandover Collegiate at three-under 213 (68-68-77) ... Began spring play winning the individual championship at the UNCG Martin Downs Collegiate at nine-under 207 ... Carded back-to-back one over 217's at the Puerto Rico Classic and Linger Longer ... Finished the Tar Heel Intercollegiate tied for 17th place ... Completed all three rounds of the Irish Creek Intercollegiate at par for a 22nd place finish ... Led the Spartans to their second-straight SoCon Championship as he finished the tournament tied for first place at 11-under 205 ... Led the Spartans in the NCAA Stanford Regional, finishing tied for 21st place at two-over par. 

2017-18 (Freshman)
Named SoCon Freshman of the Year ... Played in 36 rounds … Posted a 72.89 stroke average … Finished 17th at the UNCG Grandover Collegiate, his lowest finish of the fall … Recorded a 7-over par 223 (78-76-69) at Grandover … Placed 19th at the AutoTrader Intercollegiate with a 4-over par 220 (71-74-75) … Posted a 21st place finish at the Rod Myers Invitational with an even-par 216 with rounds of 74-71-71 … His final round of the fall was a career-best 3-under par 69 at the UNCG Grandover Collegiate. ...Posted a top 10 finish (8th) in the UNCG/Martin Downs Collegiate, posting an under par 70 in the second round ...Finished 55th in the Puerto Rico Classic ... Posted two under par rounds (71 in second round; 70 in third round) of the Tiger Intercollegiate ... Also posted an under par 71 in the second round of the Linger Longer Invitational ... Opened up the Irish Creek Intercollegiate with an under par 71 ... Became the second Spartan to win the SoCon Individual Championship, turning in a 4-under 212 (73-70-69) for the only sub-par score in the field. ... Four-year letterwinner at East Rowan High School for coach Rhett Teems … Ranked the No. 1 junior golfer in the state of North Carolina by the CGA as a junior … Two-time N.C. Junior Player of the Year by the Tarheel Youth Golf Association (TYGA) and the Carolinas Golf Association (CGA) … Became the youngest champion of the North Carolinas Amateur in event history … Posted a 71.91 stroke average in 2016-17, winning five tournaments including the TYGA North State High School Challenge, the Rowan Junior Open, and the NCJGF Irish Creek Fall Classic … Recorded 15 top-15 finishes and eight top-5 finishes on the year … Three-time Rowan County Player of the Year and a four-time All-South Piedmont Conference selection … Won the 2015 3A State championship while helping East Rowan to a runner-up team finish … Posted a seventh-place finish in 2017 … Helped his team to three straight team championships in the South Piedmont Conference … Won the USGA US Junior Amateur Qualifying this summer with a 2-under par 142 (68-74) … Advanced to the USGA US Junior National Amateur and finished tied for ninth in the prestigious field with a 2-over par 146 (74-72) … As a junior, won the CGA North Carolina Men’s Amateur with an 8-under par 280 score, posting rounds of 70-71-68-71 … Won the North State High School Challenge with a 6-under par 138 (66-72) and the Rowan Junior Open with a 7-under par 137 (71-66) … Finished second overall at the North & South Junior at Pinehurst with a 2-under par 214 (74-71-69) and second at the Tar Heel State Junior Championship with a 2-over par 146 (74-72).
