Carded one first place finish at the Bryan National Collegiate with a 15-under-par (201)…recorded his best collegiate round in the third round with a seven-under-par (65)…earned SoCon Golfer of the Week following his performance at Bryan National…finished the season with a 71.37 average over 35 rounds…recorded six top-10 individual finishes…was named to the All-SoCon Team.

2022-23 (Junior)
Averaged a 71.66 on the season after 29 rounds…best score came at the Wake Forest Invitational with a six-under-par (66)…recorded his best finish with second place at the Grandover Collegiate after notching nine-under in the three rounds with a 69-68-70…finished second best for the Spartans on the season.

2021-22 (Sophomore)
Averaged 73.20 in 30 rounds … Balbin finished tied for 14th overall after shooting a three-round one-under 215 during the Southern Conference championships. He carded a three-under 69 in the first round. Balbin capped his performance off with an eagle on the par-5, 560-yard 17th hole. UNCG finished second overall at the SoCon championships … He shot a season low 66 in the second round at the Grandover Collegiate tournament … Overall, Balbin has seven under par rounds this year along with four top 15 tournament finishes … He was tied for ninth at the Grandover Collegiate … He was tied for 11th at the Advance Golf Partners Collegiate and tied for 12th at the Dorado Beach Collegiate. … Competed at the PGA Works Minority Championship event in Philadelphia.

2020-21 (Freshman)
Led the Spartans shooting 73.61 in 18 rounds and six tournaments including a low round of 69 and top finish of 13 … Opened the season shooting 72-73-74 (+3) at Savannah Harbor … Shot 72-75-77 (+8) at the Ross Collegiate Classic … Posted a season-low 72-71-75 (+2) at the General Hackler Championship … Shot 75-72-73 (+4) at the Tar Heel Intercollegiate … Shot a season low round of 69 at the Irish Creek Collegiate 75-74-69 (+5) ...
