PRIOR TO UNCG
Freshman Season (2005-06): Gained terrific experience as a freshman for the Spartans...accumulated an 8-21 overall singles record...won two of three matches at the NC State Tourney including his first collegiate win against Mark Doumba of American (6-2, 6-3)...grabbed a win in one of two games at the UTC/Baras Collegiate...was 1-4 at No. 3 singles and 4-13 at No. 4 singles...finished 2-6 in Southern Conference play with wins against David Lara (The Citadel) and Neal Shine (Georgia Southern)...posted a 3-8 doubles record with Ian Conchar and a 2-11 doubles record with Martin Redelinghuys.
High School: Was a four-year letterwinner in tennis at the Marist School in Atlanta, GA for head coach Michael Burns...two-year team captain...competed at the No. 1 and No. 2 singles during his junior and senior seasons...named all-county for the War Eagles...member of three straight state championship teams and one runner-up squad...won his singles match in the 2005 state title win over St. Pius...team posted an unblemished 24-0 record in 2005...member of the National Honor Society.
