2022 (Senior)
Led UNCG with 12 singles victories, playing mostly at No. 3 … Had a seven-match winning streak from March 6 through April 7 … One of his wins during that stretch was a triumph over Hugo Lobo of ETSU, 6-7 (4-7), 6-4, 10-5 … During his winning streak, four of Knapp’s matches went three sets … Opened the season with wins in three of his first four matches … Was part of eight doubles victories, mostly at the third flight … He won at third singles in five of his seven matches.
2021 (Junior)
Played in all of UNCG's matches, splitting time between No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 singles, going 3-10 ... Went 1-5 as a doubles player, partnering with Eric Wisnant, Wyett Cooper and Chris Johns ... Doubles victory was with Johns against Mercer (3/21), a 6-4 victory on the road.
2019-20 (Sophomore)
Went 3-3 as the top seed in singles play, while posting a 5-2 record alongside Jack Burkill in doubles play and a 1-1 record with Cooper Wyett ... opened the spring with a three-set victory over Winthrop's No. 1 (2.9) ... started the conference season with a 6-4 win over Furman's third pairing, playing alongside Burkill (2.15) ... recorded back-to-back doubles wins with a 6-4 win at Radford (2.19), playing with Cooper Wyett in the third pairing ... secured his first singles win at the second seed, beating FGCU's Montez by scores of 7-5, 5-7, 6-4 (2.22) ... combined with Burkill for a 6-4 win over ETSU's Este and Badra (3.1) ... went a perfect 2-0 against Samford (3.7), beating the Bulldogs' No. 1 Norval in three sets, while working with Burkill to a 7-6 victory in doubles ... closed out the season on a three-match win streak in doubles play, beating Navy's No. 3 pairing 6-3 (3.9) ... picked up another two wins against Presbyterian (3.13), beating PC's Benson at the top seed and defeating the Blue Hose's third pairing 7-5.
2018-19 (Freshman)
Closed out the season with eight singles wins and nine doubles victories … is the eighth Spartan to receive All-Freshman honors from the SoCon in program history … grabbed the first win of his collegiate career against John Walsh (Richmond) with a 2-5, 7-5, 6-0 score … snagged his second win against Alexandros Caldwell (Radford) by scores of 6-2, 7-5 … won a two-set match over Alejandro Rodriguez-Vidal (Duquesne) by scores of 6-1, 6-2 … first of Knapp’s three SoCon singles wins came against The Citadel’s Noah Nawabi (7-5, 6-2) on March 4 … grabbed his first of four straight wins against Frederick Sydow (USC Upstate) by a 6-1, 6-2 margin … ended the clash at Appalachian State with a 6-4, 6-4 victory against Zion Heaven on March 26 … followed that by downing Samford’s Sami Kirberg (6-3, 6-3) to close out play in March, before snagging a win over Stathis Tsiranidis (Mercer) by scores of 6-3, 6-4 on April 7th … teamed with Burkill to down Sebastian Harris / Bonaventura Durall (Gardner-Webb) by a 6-4 score on Feb. 25 … claimed the first of six March doubles wins on March 3 when he and Knapp took down Tate Steinour / Paul Mendoza (James Madison) by a 7-6 (3-0) margin … enjoyed the first three-match winning streak of the season in doubles play as he and Burkill downed Phillip Quinn / Noah Nawabi (The Citadel) by a 6-1 margin … followed with a 6-3 victory against Daiki Tanabe / Gonzalo Achondo (Coastal Carolina) on March 9 … claimed a 5-4 win over Mieszko Kwasniewski / Chung-Han Tsai (Southern Miss) on March 14 … earned a 6-3 win over the duo of Jaime Castillo-Lopez / Max Benson (Presbyterian) … ended March with a 6-2 triumph over Rossouw Norval / Daniel Orlita (Samford) … fought past Stathis Tsiranidis / David Georgadze (Mercer) to earn a 6-4 victory … wrapped up the final doubles win of the season on April 10 at Davidson by virtue of a 6-4 win over Yash Parikh / Alexander Loope.

At Grimsley, Knapp was a three-year letterwinner and is a three-time All-Metro Conference Scholar Athlete, all-region and all-state selection ... has recorded a 58-9 career record in three seasons with the Whirlies and was twice named a scholar-athlete as well as twice being named Grimsley High’s Most Valuable Player.
