Freshman season (2009)
Had a stellar freshman campaign for the Spartans, landing a spoton the Southern Conference All-Freshman Team ... started all 59games, splitting time at first base and designated player, andposted a team-best .327 batting average, the top mark amongfreshmen in the SoCon ... was 13th in the league in batting averageoverall ... led the team with 31 walks, three triples and a .435on-base percentage and was second on the squad with 25 RBI, 11doubles and a .482 slugging percentage ... was third on the teamwith 24 runs scored ... her 31 walks were the fifth-most in schoolhistory and third-most in the SoCon on the season ... her threetriples tied for the ninth-most in a single season in schoolhistory ... was the only UNCG player with more walks thanstrikeouts (21) ... her three triples tied for second in the SoCon,her 11 doubles tied for fifth and her 55 hits tied for sixth ...also in the top 10 in the league in on-base percentage (seventh)and total bases (ninth, 81) ... led UNCG with 13 multi-hit gamesand eight multi-RBI games ... hit .417 and slugged .667 in UNCG'sfour SoCon tournament games, including a 3-for-3 effort againstFurman in which she fell a home run short of the cycle ... startedher career with a 2-for-3 effort with two RBI against North Floridaon Feb. 6 ... had eight games with at least two walks, including apair of three-walk games just three days apart (at Furman on March21 and vs. Harvard on March 24) ... had a seven-game hitting streakfrom March 7-24 and an eight-game hitting streak from April 19-29... went 5-for-10 with her only stolen base of the season in thethree-game series at Western Carolina on March 7-8 ... had fourhits in a pair of wins over Army on Feb. 14, going 2-for-3 in bothgames ... also had two hits in each game of a doubleheader sweep ofNorth Carolina Central on April 7, scoring four runs and clubbingtwo doubles and a home run ... had a season-high three RBI in gametwo of a doubleheader against Charlotte on April 14 ... scored theonly run in a 1-0 win over Georgia Southern on April 18.
