Was a four-year All-Big 8 Conference performer for coach Brent Pearson at Fike High School in Wilson, N.C., helping the Demons to four conference championships ... had Fike's highest batting average in both her junior and senior seasons ... team MVP both seasons ... At the club level, she played a combined 10 years for the Wilson Diamonds for coach Ricky Cook and the Triangle Lightning for coach Tim Moose ... the Wilson Diamonds won the Southeastern Regional 10U and the 16U World Series ... was also a two-year all-conference pick in volleyball for Fike, helping the squad to a Big 8 Conference title in 2007.
