Biography

Junior season (2009)
Appeared in 46 games with 35 starts, 24 of them in center field and 11 in right ... hit .214 on the season with three doubles, a home run, 15 runs scored and seven RBI, all career highs ... also earned a career-best 13 walks ... was hit by a pitch six times, leading the team for the second time in three years in that category ... was third on the team with a .382 on-base percentage ... hit .261 in 16 Southern Conference games ... hit her first career home run on April 7, a grand slam against North Carolina Central ... added an RBI single for a five-RBI day ... was the only UNCG player to knock in five runs in a game on the season ... went 2-for-2 with a stolen base in game two of a doubleheader against Virginia Tech on April 30, getting two of the Spartans' three hits in the game ... drew a pair of walks in game one against the Hokies ... finished the season on a three-game hitting streak, getting hits in each of the three games in which she played at the SoCon tournament ... led the team with a .429 average at the tournament ... just missed a home run against Furman at the tournament on May 8, hitting a double off the wall in left ... turned in a .964 fielding percentage, making just two errors in 55 total chances ... earned a spots on the Dean's List and Chancellor's List in both semesters ... named a National Fastpitch Coaches Association Scholar-Athlete for the 2008-09 school year ... won the Southern Conference's Coleman Lew Leadership Award ... earned a spot on the Academic All-Southern Conference Team.

Saw action in 28 games with eight starts ... was used primarily as a pinch-runner ... scored nine runs on the season ... was 5-for-7 in stolen base attempts ... drew four walks ... posted a perfect fielding percentage, not making an error in 12 chances ... stole a base and scored UNCG's only run as a pinch-runner in a 2-1 loss to Coastal Carolina on Feb. 9 ... scored a run as a pinch-runner against Chattanooga on consecutive days (March 21-22) ... scored what would prove to be the winning run in a 4-3 win over Liberty on March 25 ... scored the winning run in the bottom of the eighth inning against Elon on April 26 ... earned spots on the Dean's List and Chancellor's List for both semesters ... named an NFCA Scholar-Athlete for the 2007-08 school year.
