Biography

Senior season (2009)
Was a team captain ... one of just two players to start all 59 games ... started all 243 games of her four-year UNCG career, tying for third in school history in career starts ... had a career year, posting career highs in batting average (.281), runs (29), hits (47), doubles (11), home runs (four), RBI (22), total bases (72), slugging percentage (.431), on-base percentage (.341) and sacrifice bunts (19) ... also hit one triple and drew 14 walks ... led the team and was second in the Southern Conference in sacrifices ... tied for second on the team and fifth in the SoCon in doubles ... led UNCG and was seventh in the SoCon in stolen bases  (14-for-20) ... was third on the team in slugging ... fourth on the team in batting average ... was second on the team with 12 multi-hit games, including a pair of three-hit contests ... hit .322 in 21 SoCon games on the season ... had seven hits, six RBI and five runs in a three-game span, going a combined 4-for-6 with five RBI and five runs in a doubleheader against North Carolina Central on April 7, then 3-for-4 with an RBI and two doubles against Samford on April 10 ... had home runs in each game against NC Central ... had four RBI in game two, with a two-run double and a two-run home run in consecutive innings ... that was the second time on the season she had hit home runs in consecutive contests, as she also did so against Furman on March 21 and 22 ... torched the Paladins in the three-game regular-season series, going a combined 5-for-10 with two home runs, three RBI and three runs ...  was 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI in game two of a doubleheader against Western Carolina on March 7 ... was 2-for-3 with two runs, an RBI, a double and a triple in game two of a doubleheader against Liberty on April 29 ... was 2-for-3 with three RBI against Rider on Feb. 27 ... put together a seven-game hitting streak from March 7-24 ... finished ninth in UNCG history in career hits (167), 11th in home runs (11), seventh in at-bats (696) and fifth in stolen bases (47).

Junior season (2008)
Was a team captain ... one of three players to start all 56 games ... hit .238 on the season with 36 hits ... had four doubles, three home runs and a triple ... earned 15 walks, third-best on the team ... scored 18 runs, the second-highest total on the team ...was second on the team in stolen bases, going 17-for-20 ... had five sacrifice hits ... notched eight multi-hit games ... was 2-for-3 with a pair of stolen bases against Minnesota on Feb. 9 ... had a big series against College of Charleston on April 19-20, going a combined 4-for-9 with a double, a home run and four RBI ... was 2-for-3 with a three-run homer in the first game against the Cougars ... also had a solid series against Georgia Southern on April 12-13, combining to go 4-for-9 with a home run and two runs scored against the Eagles ... her other home run on the season came against Coastal Carolina on Feb. 10 ... had two stolen bases against UMBC on Feb. 17 ... hit her lone triple of the season against Furman on May 3 ... earned a spot on the Dean's List for the fall semester and on the Academic All-Southern Conference Team ... named a National Fastpitch Coaches Association Scholar-Athlete for the 2007-08 school year.

Sophomore season (2007)
One of three players to start all 66 games ... saw action primarily at second base in her sophomore season ... recorded a .210 batting average with 21 runs on 41 hits ... second on the team in stolen base attempts, going 12-for-13 ... tallied five doubles, one triple and two home runs on the season ... also tallied 11 RBI ... second on the team in assists with 94 on the season ... had a season-high three hits against Providence on March 9 ... also tallied a season-high two RBI against Drexel on Feb. 23 ... named to the Academic All-Southern Conference Team.

Freshman season (2006)
One of four players to start all 62 games ... saw action in the infield and outfield ... recorded a .235 batting average (43-for-183) with 10 doubles and two home runs ... had four stolen bases on five attempts ... had nine RBI ... posted a .322 slugging percentage and a .984 fielding percentage ... earned a spot on the Dean's List for the fall semester.

High school
Played four years as a catcher and third baseman at Northern Burlington High School in Columbus, N.J. ... coached by Brian Wolverton ... was a team captain her final three years ... batted over .350 for her career ... named first-team All-South Jersey and first-team All-Burlington County as a senior ... honored as a second-team all-county member as a freshman ... had the game-winning hit as a freshman to lead her club to the Group III state championship in 2002 ... led the Greyhounds to a pair of sectional and Liberty Division titles in 2002 and 2005 ... also ran cross country two seasons and competed in the 200m and 400m events during winter track for three years ... also played for the Beach Girls Gold in Brooklyn, NY, for coach Joe Botti.

Lyndsay Leigh Mouse ... daughter of Timothy and Gail Mouse ... born April 27, 1987, in Melbourne, Fla. ... majored in exercise and sports science with a concentration in sports medicine ... uncle Francis Mouse played in the Houston Astros and Atlanta Braves minor league systems.
