Susan McDonald enters her 10th year as an athletic development assistant for the Spartan Club in 2019-20.
McDonald taught health, physical education and biology at the high school level in Georgia and North Carolina from 1967-81. She coached men's and women's tennis and swimming at Chapel Hill High School.
In 1984, McDonald began a 25-year career in printing & publishing serving as a sales rep and a product development and corporate liaison for publishing and printing concerns. She started and served as Chief Operating Officer at McDonald & Associates -- printing and publishing consulting firm working primarily with book clients. She ended her printing & publishing career as Director of Product Development & Licensing at the Journal of Neurosurgery Publishing Group in Charlottesville, VA, in September 2009.
McDonald graduated from UNCG in 1967 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education. She earned her aster of Arts in Teaching from North Carolina in 1972.
