Outdoor Track 2022 (Senior)
Colin continued to have an incredible year, as he scored 3rd in the mile at the Dennis Craddock Coaches Classic with a personal best time of 4:07.15. At the Aggie Classic, he placed 2nd on All-Time UNCG Performances with a time of 1:51.81.
Indoor Track 2021-22 (Senior)
Colin Alexander spent this season focusing on the 3000m for the first time as well as continuing to improve in the indoor mile. At the Darius Dixon Memorial Invitational, he finished with a personal best time of 8:35.00 and at the SoCon Indoor Championship, scored 9th overall in the mile with another career best (4:13.84).
Cross-Country 2021 (Senior)
Competed in four of the six meets this season… Ran a career best in the 6k Elon Opener with a time of 19:9.9 placing 33rd.
Outdoor Track 2021 (Junior)
Competed in the 1,500 meters in all six of UNCG's spring meets, with a fastest time of 3 minutes 54.15 seconds to finish first at the Catamount Classic ... Finished eighth at the SoCon Championships in the 1,500 ... Ran the 800 meters in 1:58.14 seconds, finishing 16th at the High Point Verklasse Meeting ... Placed 18th in the 5,000 meters at the SoCon Championships in 15:55.37.
Indoor Track 2019-20 (Sophomore)
Grabbed a PR during the Dick Taylor Carolina Cup Challenge (1.11) while turning in a time of 53.75 in the 400m ... relay squad took a runner-up spot in the 4x800m (8:03.10), while competing at the JDL January College Kick-Off (1.19) ... earned points for the Spartans during the SoCon Indoor Championship (3.1), running a 4:19.85 in the final of the mile for a seventh-place finish.
Cross-Country 2019 (Sophomore)
Had a 6K personal best while finishing in 20:01.9 at the adidas XC Challenge (9.20) ... turned in a 25:55.0 while running the 8K at the ECU Pirate XC Invitational (10.18).
Outdoor Track 2019 (Freshman)
Joined a Spartan 4x400m squad whose time of 3:33.72 took fourth at the Wendy's Seahawk Invitational (3.9) ... ran a time of 1:57.07 while competing in the Charlotte 49er Classic 800m (3.16) ... crossed the finish line in 4:02.00 while running the 1500m at Raleigh Relays (3.29).
Indoor Track 2018-19 (Freshman)
Made individual debut at the Virginia Tech Invitational (1.11) with a 2:36.88 in the 1000m ... finished first in the Wake Forest Invitational mile (1.19), with a time of 4:25.84 ... won the JDL College Meet Madness 800m (1.27) in a time of 1:57.51, also pushed the Spartans to a win in the DMR during that meet, with the team crossing in 10:38.98 ... ran a new personal best in the mile, finishing third at the Darius Dixon Memorial Invitational with a time of 4:15.22 ... part of a DMR squad that earned points at SoCon Indoor Championships, after coming sixth with a time of 10:37.96.
Cross-Country 2018 (Freshman)
Made collegiate debut with a 20:21.2 in the Elon Opener 3.73 mile (8.31) ... ran a season-best time of 26:31.6 during the Louisville Classic 8K (9.29).
High School
Lettered all four years in cross country and track at Pinecrest High School in Southern Pines, North Carolina … Helped the Patriots win the Sandhills Conference five times … Named to the NCHSAA 4A All-State the last two years … Ran a personal best 15:59.6 at the Greensboro Invitational and placed second at the NCHSAA 4A Midwest Regional and eighth at the state championship … Set a personal-best of 4:20.92 in the 1,600 meters and 9:41.84 in the 3,200 meters … Placed seventh at the WNCAC Championship in the 1,600 meters and in the 3,200 meters sixth at the NCHSAA 3A West Regional and fifth in the WNCAC Championship … Had a top mark of 10:06.33 for the 3,200 meters indoors and won three meets in the event.
