Earned a career best 2:20.53 at the 2023 Aggie Classic in the 800m.
Indoor Track 2022-23 (Sophomore)
Finished with a season best in the 600m at the JDL Early Bird Invitational with a time of 1:46.05 to finish seventh at the meet.
Cross-Country 2023 (Sophomore)
Earned a career best time of 19:51.6 in the 5K at the SoCon Cross Country Championship…finished first at the Visit Winston-Salem College Kick-Off in the DMR with a time of 13:52.95.
Outdoor Track 2022 (Freshman)
Laila focused solely on the 800m for her first outdoor season at UNCG. She ran a personal best at the Aggie Classic in the 800m, crossing the line at 2:30.73. Burk continued to run the 800m finishing 14th at the SoCon Outdoor Championship.
Indoor Track 2021-22 (Freshman)
Laila Burk ran solid races competing in the 400m and relays that follow. At the Camel City Invitational, she finished with a personal best time of 1:06.86. Lalia continued to run the 400m in the 4x400 relay and finished 4th along with her teammates at the JDL DMR Invitational.
Cross-Country 2021 (Freshman)
Competed in five meets this season… Ran a career-best in the 6k ECU Pirate Invitational with a time of 25:00.6 placing 45th overall… Competed in the 5k Louisville Classic with a career-best time of 20:22.8… Competed in the 4k Elon Opener with a career-best time of 16:35.3 finishing 75th overall… Competed in the Southern Conference XC Championships.
